MARKETING AND INVESTOR RELATIONS ANALYST
Shine Associates, LLC has been retained to search, identify and recruit a Marketing and Investor Relations Analyst on behalf of our client (‘Company’). This candidate will be located in the Boston, MA office.

CLIENT DESCRIPTION
Our client is a Boston-based real estate focused private equity firm with 30 years’ experience that invests in a wide variety of opportunistic and value-oriented commercial real estate transactions where the conditions exist for compelling absolute returns over a short and medium duration. The firm invests throughout the United States in single property transactions and multiple property portfolios whereby the investment strategies are based on property-level operational enhancements as well as those with pricing advantages that arise from distressed, complex, and dislocated scenarios.
The firm’s investments are structured in numerous capital forms including direct investments, joint venture equity, preferred equity, mezzanine loans, and transitional first mortgages. Since 1993, the firm has invested in more than $30 billion of commercial real estate on behalf of a diversified and highly regarded group of endowments, foundations, public and corporate pension plans, financial institutions, family offices, and sovereign entities. The firm has successfully raised capital for 18 investment vehicles.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The firm is seeking an Analyst who will play an active role as a member of the investor relations team. Specific duties will include:
Support the preparation of investor due diligence materials, including PPMs, investor DDQs/RFPs, due diligence meeting agendas, and other ancillary investor requests
Coordinate and prepare responses to quarterly investor requests, consultant requests, and updates to consultant databases
Research and prepare pre-meeting materials and agendas for senior team members prior to meetings
Oversee and coordinate preparation of Annual Investor Meeting materials, including presentations, photographs, and media
Assist in creation and ongoing maintenance of all presentation materials to facilitate communications with existing and prospective limited partners
Work closely with members of the accounting and finance, asset management, and acquisitions teams to gather information to create content for investor communications
Participate as an active team member in the preparation of all outgoing communications, including Annual Letters to investors, press releases, white papers, and periodic investor updates
Maintain Company website, LinkedIn profile, Wikipedia page, and other online platforms. Work with third party providers to maintain and enhance the Firm’s website and internet marketing presence
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should have broad-based analytical skills, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, research abilities and an outstanding level of attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, real estate, or other related area of study
2+ years of related work experience, with exposure to the commercial real estate industry a plus
In depth knowledge with all products within Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint
Prior experience creating collateral materials, graphic design, or other creative initiatives
Ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively meet deadlines
Team player with the ability to work independently and under pressure in an entrepreneurial environment
Outstanding level of attention to detail, accountability, integrity, and ethics
Self-motivated, energetic, and positive individual with strong oral and written communication skills
